Emergency Tuition Assistance
The purpose of this award is to help “bridge the gap” where state and federal assistance ends, and college affordability begins. The award will vary in amount depending on the availability of funds. Unfortunately, we have limited funds available, so, we give priority to applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. The award can be used for expenses related to tuition, fees, as well as room and board only.

Academic Scholarships

The purpose of this scholarship is to support incoming freshmen attending North Carolina A&T State University from Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Rowan, Lincoln, and Union counties in North Carolina, or Chester and York Counties in South Carolina.
Scholarship Criteria
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide scholarships to students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree at North Carolina A&T State University. An eligible applicant must:
- Be a graduating high school senior
- Be a legal resident of Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Chester, Rowan, Union County, N.C. or Chester County or York County, S.C.
- Have a 3.0 minimum GPA (weighted)

- 300-500 word Essay
- Copy of N.C. A&T SU Acceptance Letter
