Academic Scholarships
The Queen City Alumni Chapter will award eight (8) academic scholarships of $2,500 each to incoming undergraduate students attending North Carolina A&T State University in the Fall of 2026. Complete all sections below to be considered as a candidate for one of the QC Alumni Chapter Scholarships. The deadline to apply has passed, please check back next year.
Scholarship Criteria
An eligible applicant must:
- Be a graduating high school senior
- Be a legal resident of Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Rowan, Lincoln, Stanly or Union Counties in North Carolina, or Chester or York Counties in South Carolina.
- Have a 3.0 minimum GPA (weighted)

- N.C. A&T S.U. Acceptance Letter (PDF)
- Transcript, with Weighted GPA
- Activities Resume / Brag Sheet (Typed)
- Letter of Recommendation
- 2-3 Minute Video Essay Response

Emergency Tuition Assistance
The purpose of this award is to help “bridge the gap” where state and federal assistance ends, and college affordability begins. The award will vary in amount depending on the availability of funds. Unfortunately, we have limited funds available, so, we give priority to applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. The award can be used for expenses related to tuition, fees, as well as room and board only.
