A&T Set To Play Liberty In The First Four

GREENSBORO — The NCAA men’s basketball brackets are set. North Carolina A&T is scheduled to play the Liberty Flames (15-20) in an NCAA first round game out of the Midwest Regional. Both the Aggies and the Flames are the 16th seed. Game time is scheduled for 6:40 p.m., on Tuesday in Dayton, Ohio.
truTV will televise the game live with Marv Albert doing play-by-play and Steve Kerr doing color. If the Aggies win, they will face the Midwest’s top-seeded Louisville Cardinals on Thursday in Lexington, Ky. The 1 vs. 16 game is scheduled to start at 6:50 p.m., on TBS. Tuesday will mark the Aggies’ 10th appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The game will be played three days after the Aggies clinched their 16th MEAC title.
A&T head coach Cy Alexander and selected players will hold a news conference in Dayton, Ohio at 4:20 p.m., on Monday. A&T will then practice at 5:05 p.m. Practices are open to the public and the media.
